There's nothing wrong with her legs. The photo is just out of context which makes it look odd.
Today's lesson. Look up foreshortening and lens curvature.
Are you kidding David A? Look at her right leg! It's nowhere near as long as it should be. She must walk with a really pronounced limp. And the curve where the calf is against the thigh is messed up too.

It's like the weight of her torso crushed her legs underneath it... and that torso is nowhere near weighing anything! o.O
yeah, i think this more to do with the type of lens used, than being a bad shop job. (Even though it is also shopped.)

I have to agree with both sides of the debate. Some of the distortion is caused by the camera lens used (you can clearly see that in the original photographs chromatically_challenged linked to). However, if you compare the cover and the original photos you see that someone darkened the shadows on her legs way too much. The odd camera angle/lens made her legs look odd but not too bad. The shadows make it 10x worse.
