Maxim: Model Distorts Space-Time Continuum

Apparently some idiot at Maxim magazine felt Kata Dobo was too chubby and let loose with the warping and the distorting. Or perhaps her bathroom tiles are deliberately crooked.

I put this pic back into Photoshop and warped her side until the tile appeared straight.
The model certainly doesn't look fat after, and she is still in extremely good physical shape.
I really can't understand why they felt the need to Photoshop her at all.
Crazy!

The quote beside her makes it even funnier.

distortion was actually to make her breasts larger, not make her waist smaller. If you look to the left, the grout line there is somewhat curved along the shape of her breast. It's a bit hidden in the shadow, but you can see it if you try. Maxim is all about the t&a, after all.

And her navel migrated up about 4 inches...

This blog is brilliant - and this should be your signature graphic.

Bravo!

And the pull quote is about feeling confident about one's body. I guess Maxim didn't, even if she did.

"when doing a photoshoot, you really have to feel confident about your bathroom tiles"

and the text on the page is a classic "feel good about your body", indeed.
