You know how when you see pictures of people in the 70s or 80s you wonder why they had such awful clothes and haircuts? That's how people in 2020 are going to see this decade. It's the decade of inept reflections.

Begun This Clone Tool Has
Have you seen a truly awful piece of Photoshop work? Clumsy manipulation, senseless comping, lazy cloning and thoughtless retouching are our bread and butter. And yes, deep down, we love Photoshop.
If it is commercial and awful then please let us know! Anonymity can be arranged for the easily embarrassed/canned.
Although I am hopeless at replying to email, be assured that each and every tip is followed up.

LOL oh it's so cute xD
Found your blog on Boing Boing and I've been emailing it to all photographers I know. Hilarious! Keep it up!
Wow, they didn't even try on this one.
Love the rectangular shadows.
those shadows are rectangular because of your cheap graphics card!( I kid)
Once again with the black shadow on a highly reflective surface. Normally when they do the flip reflection the original photographer was at least standing close to ground level, in this case the pictures were taken from above, which makes the flip reflection even dumber looking.
Llegue aqui desde Stumble¡ bonita bitacora.
Okay, most reflections don't bother me. I mean, I know they are actually impossible, but the visual effect often doesn't look impossible.
But these are... whoa! These just look all kinds of wrong.
soon some markting hotshot will discover this blog and use it for viral marketing - by using really bad photoshopping, having the product posted here and then his ad is sent out to everyone on the planet :-)
If Microsoft sees this, they'll probably reduce their offer for Yahoo! by about 90%, as it reflects badly upon them. Ahem.
I thought the previous examples of faking reflections were awful, but this... Are they outsourcing their graphic work to the Fifth Dimension or something?
I can make my hand do that too!
What? I don't get it? HOW could they do that? Even I can do better, and I suck at reflections.
NO WAY!
aaaaaaajajajjajaa LOL
This one is horrible!! In the photostudio I used to work we had reflections of cars too but we always used the actual reflections on the shiny white/black floor. Look beter in every way, saves lots of time and there is no risk of ending up with something like this!
I hate it when m compact car is so cute, its reflection bends over to see it! Jeez. This site is slowly giving me the courage to get Photoshop for myself -- after all, if I suck, I at least don't suck for pay in public like these -- oh, that sounded bad, didn't it? xD
Seriously, though, before I looked at sites like this, I thought these messups (at least in commercials) were intentional and their implementation had some sound basis in the propaganda section of some Institutional Psychology firm. I used to wrack my brains trying to figure out what hidden message the admen were trying to send to the public's subconscious.
Now I know what it is: "Boy howdy, do we ever like our three-armed ladies without reflections or pores, whose skeletal structure is totally negotiable and whose appliances are only meant to be operated by Merlin or Dr. Who! Or maybe our artists were on a deadline and fell asleep on the 'clone' button. You pick."
yahoo must have got what they paid for
What. The. Fuck.
Not just this utterly crappy reflection, also the black shadow underneath the cars ... lol
These comments about these "bad" reflections are even more cornier than the ad...
Any commerical ARTIST with any self respect just has to ask YOU the question and say...
"ever hear of creative license??? I like to make my reflections intentionally FUCKED UP to get my photo NOTICED!!!...
people who stick with the rules of reality with their PHOTOSHOPWORK....are computer DORKS!!!
FIRED
this is what happens when you don't pay your designer enough or decide to fish out a cheap one... well deserved!
