Have you seen a truly awful piece of Photoshop work? Clumsy manipulation, senseless comping, lazy cloning and thoughtless retouching are our bread and butter. And yes, deep down, we love Photoshop.
If it is commercial and awful then please let us know! Anonymity can be arranged for the easily embarrassed/canned.

maybe it's a video or a picture and no reflection?
Haha. Not a disaster in the sense that they did something wrong, but in that they didn't do anything at all. I'd call that a disaster.
Hahahha. I'm still laughing.
Funniest PhotoshopDisaster ever.
LOL WUT
jesus non-existent christ!
:-o
So bad!
Well, you've at least gotta hand it to them for not using a stock photo. The fat lady in the photo has a towson shirt on.
A mirror-like screen that makes your reflection ugly? Or just a really bad simulated screen image? (As kramsauer said, it's not reversed...)
Weird.
This is one of those many occasions when I cannot figure out for the life of me how they managed to do this. What is so difficult about taking a photograph of a woman sitting with her laptop on the grass and leaving it completely alone?
I mentioned that it couldn't be a reflection as the image isn't reversed. Of course, a reflection could then be rendered that way if the image of the whole scene is reversed. Brain fart! :-)
I bet that's her desktop picture. Her "BFF" as the kids say.
Is that Sanjaya Malakar?
This brought tears to my eyes. Hilarious!
Scary...
I'm guessing they wanted the "Towson" to show in the reflection, the stock photo didn't work, and...
ooooh, this one is a real PUZZLER!
Holy crap that is a scary face.
At first it looked like the lady in the reflection/video/whatever had double chins, but on closer inspection it looks like the bottom part of her chin was cloned and pasted just down and to the left of her original chin. The line of the right side of her face extends far too low. Completely freaky.
And I think there's a guy to the right of her holding a tricorder.
My best guess is that it IS a reflection, that the unhappy large girl is somewhere behind and above the cute happy girl's left shoulder, and that the whole image is flipped. Poor unhappy large girl and her unwanted fame.
Awesome-towson!
The fat lady even has a towson t-shirt! LOL
If it were a reflection (fake, or real) why would it cover the entire screen EXCEPT for the scroll bar on the right and the menu bar at the top?
It looks to me like a really bad photo was open, but either way it is a disaster of some kind.
If you check the keyboard more closely you can see the backspace key and what look like the home, end keys etc on the top of the girl's keyboard making it seem like an image that was flipped.
Woops.
I addition to the fact that the TOWSON on the shirt is readable, look at the keyboard layout: the image was flipped. So in reality, it is just a sad and hilarious photo that could have probably used a little more touchup than it got.
"If it were a reflection (fake, or real) why would it cover the entire screen EXCEPT for the scroll bar on the right and the menu bar at the top?"
Because a reflection will be most prominent on black areas of the screen.
Yeah, this probably would have been a great time to use Photoshop, and they didn't.
who ever started this site - i just want to say - TY!
That is absolutely hilarious!!!!!
This is how she's going to look after she's at the college. Paler and fatter.
My girlfriend saw this and immediately said that the lady in the reflection was likely standing behind the sitting girl, and I think she's right. You can see the tiniest bit of reflection of her hands on the keyboard. So, all they did was flip the image, and they should have blacked out the screen, but I don't think anything else was done.
The problem isn't that there is an ugly person in the reflection, it is that a reflection would show the words "TOWSON" in reverse?
Ok. What is the black girl typing? There is nothing on her screen except fattie. I agree with the poster who simply wonders why the hell they could not just take a damn photograph and use it. There are some people who should never be allowed to photoshop ANYTHING.
here's something for blogger
http://iwantmywww.blogspot.com
It's actually a reflection of an onlooker from the rival college of NOSWOT. Poor jealous Noswotian girl, go back to your own campus now or you'll be late for Mathletes.
A while back I wanted "Dern dern DERRRRRNNN!" for a text message tone on my mobile - but how do you find it? I mean what do you type into google?
the camera does add 10 lbs, or in this case a post death bloated kind of 10 lbs.
LOL
My guess is a deliberate prank by the guy with Tattyshop.
qv
OK, it is obviously flipped - the TOWSON in reverse combined with the laptop itself (See the silver button? It's the power button on a toshiba and it goes to the left of the keyboard)
There is no visible scrollbar or menu bar - you're probably seeing the lighter grey of the screen bezel and thinking that's it. Flip the image and it's easier to see. There's nothing on the screen apart from the other girl's image.
The screens on those models could easily allow for a reflection such as that. No mystery, but it is pretty freaky.
Everyday I ask "What's wrong with people?"...
everyday here I see a example, who in their right mind authorizes these adverts to be used with these Photoshop Disasters, and pay BIG buck$ to do so!!
Does anyone ever get fired for their incompetence?? lol
Coming from Towson, this doesn't surprise me. Towson is actually a state school, but they took the "State" out of their name to sound more prestigious. Go Towson!
Where's the disaster?
I'm almost certain that Lord Manly is correct - this is likely a prank pulled by the graphic designer, a dig at the school.
I'm not so sure. I think this might be a designer joke. It's the kind of thing I do sometimes, sneak an amusing picture into what you're working on if you can get away with it. Kind of like an easter egg.
Either way, this is hilarious.
The disaster on this one is the _lack_ of sufficient photoshop.
The happy pretty girl is actually an unhappy large girl. The reflection reveals her true form.
I think the main girl in the photo is doing some sort of video messaging with the other girl. Meaning the other girl is actually on-screen which would explain the non-reversed logo on the shirt and the dimness of the screen image.
Hahahhaha!!! This is like the Beijing Olympics with the little girl that lip-synced the song, because the real singer was too ugly!
The thing at Beijing was lame and unfair for the real singer. But this PSP Disaster was HILARIOUS!
Well, what do you know? Tor Johnson's grand-daughter goes to Towson University. I think the girl on the lawn should run before she get's eaten. Oh, and three chins? Not the best look on a woman.
Ahh, omg, that is CREEPY!! (but also very funny)
Heh, heh.
The creepy Theater Arts professor totally followed her out into the quad!
Hope this wasn't University of Iowa.
Never did like that school anyway.
@MB, a search for: "dun dun der sound effect" eventually led here:

The best part is, the computer had to be photoshopped at some point, because her shirt reads correctly instead of reflected. Or, I guess, they could have some messed up shirts at Towson.
Since when did Towson sell shirts with "Towson" spelled "noswoT" as well. Note the reflection of the word "Towson" spelled forward in the laptop reflection! Someone needs to do better qualitiy control in the college bookstore! Duh...
Yeah, I graduated from Towson and that girl was on every. single. computer monitor. Can't believe they haven't fixed that yet...
Are you guys stupid ? What is wrong with you ?
How about this explanation:
1. angle of entry = drop out angle
2. The girl faces the laptop at 0°
3. The photographer faces the laptop at about 70°
So the reflection on the Laptop-Monitor won't EVER show the girl but what is on the other side of the Monitor (at 70° or 140° from the point of view of the photographer).
This is fact.
Now assume that one simply mirrored the whole picture to make the girl smile from the left, because it looks better on the site layout. This makes the "TOWSON" _seem_ mirrored, too.
You do the math.
An ancestor to Dorian Gray
I pretty sure level20peon is right. There even seems to be the top of the smiling girl's head in the lower right corner of the screen (compare the hair colour). It's just mirrored. That's it. It was no spooky ghost.
TFC! totaly fuckin confused.
ROFL!!!
That is pretty weird. I think that it's a reflection based on how dark it is. I think it would have been lighter if it had been a picture or video shot somewhere else. My blog is computer related. You should check it out.
That's so great!
Even creepier... I'm in Cook Library on Towson campus right now working my shift, browsing Photoshop Disasters... and then my boss comes in and randomly asks "have you ever heard of Photoshop Disasters?" Creepily enough, I was just surfing it at that moment... but then he told me our alma mater made it on here the other day... This ghost is even creepier. A good laugh for a Towson student. Thanks much.
THANK YOU ALEJO and LEVEL20PEON!!!

Don't you love how the majority of posts here are mocking REALITY? PS probably wasn't even used in this pic at all!
