Weird Al Yankovic: Facepalm

The weirdest thing about Weird Al Yankovic - here apparently portrayed by a much younger actor - is how you can still see his little hand behind his big hand.

Thanks to Eric! Original is here![warning: Flash tedium]

I guess he didn't come with his own giant hand.

Actually, that's not a much younger actor. He really looks like that. But it's no excuse for bad editing.

Why do you think it's a younger actor? It looks like him to me.

Dino said...

He's not called 'weird' for no reason

That is definitely Weird Al as he looks at his current age. This is an ad for a 3D film that is playing at the Orange County fair. That is why they used this crazy perspective, to advertise the 3D effect of the film.

this image isnt supposed to be photo real. i dont think it belongs.

Morgan said...

Ricksander, no, it's not, but they forgot to erase the original normal-size hand when they created the giant one holding the brain. Look, you can still see his fingers on the top of the cerebellum.

Ludovica said...

Ohmigosh! You know I dont even think thats his ACTUAL brain either....
Hey it's only supposed to be for fun anyway.

Weird Al looks pretty hot for his age (or any age) and Ive seen him pretty close up IRL.
Slightly sloppy image editing, but yeah its not supposed to look real ffs!

right, yeah they didn't fully cover up the original hand when replacing it. I can see it now.

Um, no, Weird Al does not "really look like that". Weird Al is fifty years old, a little fat, and has lines in his face, not creamy photoshop face. Weird Al is also the least funny human being on the planet.

I am absolutely astounded that there are people who come to this site, don't read the post title, don't bother to read the subsequent comments, don't even look at the picture closely, and then proclaim that this is no disaster.

Once more for the slow kids; his little hand is still behind his big hand.

Jeez Fnarf.. Considering that you obviously don't like him, I'm guessing you've never been close enough to him to see what a great looking guy he is for his age.
The image is sloppy yeah, but thats no reason to bitch about the man. Weird Al is AWESOME. I bet if you saw his incredible live show you'd be really surprised

Obviously you are not acquainted with the Argentinian comic El eternauta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Eternauta).
If you were you would have noticed that Weird Al Yankovic is a Manos (http://www.revistasudestada.com.ar/web06/IMG/eternauta_mano.jpg).
So, not a PSD, just his extra fingers showing up.

Miranda said...

No, that's Weird Al, but at some point he decided to shave and change his hair. He shoulda left it oldskool.

lol extra leftover small fingers

Seriously? You think this is unintentional? It's either photographed using an ultra wide angle lens to create the distortion, or photoshopped to look like it has been......

Kasey said...

@chris B

And that would be fine IF they had done the PS correctly and erased the little hand before adding the 3-d effect.

Some people on here are morons ...

I'm often a naysayer, I'll admit it ... but I at least bother to look at the image properly first and read the description ...

If only they had bothered to move the brain up just a fraction of an inch.
